EverRail changes
Hello Everyone!
We've just updated the demo, and we want to thank each and every one of you who's been sending us feedback and bug reports - they've genuinely shaped the way we're looking at the game, and will continue to do so as we develop EverRail with our community.
This patch has a whole host of changes, including new threats, new UI and UX elements, tweaks to controls and a whole load of other things! There are also many text and translation fixes across all supported languages; however, not all of these made it into the current update, and you will see some English text where you would normally see your language of choice.
There is also a known issue when joining Multiplayer - if you get an error when joining, you'll need to restart the game before you're able to join. Rest assured, we're working on it!
So, without any further ado, here are the full (chunky) Patch Notes:
Patch Notes:
Wagons & Storage
Wagons now join together with proper exterior connector pieces, and coupling a wagon no longer causes a jarring camera jump. It plays smoothly and gives you audio feedback.
Storage now comes in a full range: Small, Medium, Large, and Huge.
Small storage now holds eight slots (up from six).
Storage buildings have clearer names and descriptions, and each one now has wiring in its build cost.
Larger and Huge versions of heavier storage and Iso tanks require more advanced refined and composite metals, while food depots and battery racks stay on the lighter side.
When you board or leave the train, the prompt now tells you which toolbelt you will be equipping.
You now start each run right next to the expedition door instead of deep in the engine wagon.
Passengers
Rations are now handed out three times a day instead of four, on a steady eight-hour cycle.
Every passenger eats one ration per distribution.
Keep the ration store stocked before the next distribution or your passengers will starve.
Ration warnings now trigger at the correct time.
A low ration store displays a clear danger callout.
The board computer now announces critical situations, including a new line for passengers lost to starvation.
The separate expedition countdown has been removed.
