Multiplayer interactions are now much smoother, performance is better on lower-end PCs, and we’ve done some early winter cleaning in the lobby – goodbye pumpkins, see you next year!

🏆 Build-a-Room Competition Update

The Build-a-Room competition is still live! Due to popular demand, we’ve decided to extend the submission deadline by one week, from November 10th to November 17th.

We can’t wait to see what amazing rooms you’ll create! You can read all the details and rules here.

Base Game

  • Various level fixes and general polishing

  • Optimized lobby performance (and removed Halloween decorations)

  • Improved reliability of slot interactions in co-op

Room Editor

  • Fixed memory leak when loading custom models

  • Deleting props or changing their behavior no longer breaks the room

  • Searching no longer triggers keyboard shortcuts

  • Added a dedicated search button

  • Fixed waypoint reset button

  • [c]onDelay[/c] now triggers correctly

  • Hiding lights now also turns them off

  • Disabled camera WASD movement in certain editor modes

  • Transform gizmo now updates properly after undo/redo

  • Disabled undo/redo in special modes

  • Changed Lua array syntax from [c]{index}[/c] to [c][index][/c]

  • Improved prop rotation while dragging values

  • Triggers at position (0,0,0) no longer activate at start

  • Keybindings now save correctly

  • Script name is cleared when duplicating props to prevent conflicts

  • Added error display for duplicate script names

  • [c]onLocks[/c] now activates properly

  • Lock links are now clickable

  • Walkthrough button works correctly

  • Missing custom models now spawn as empty placeholders

  • Added “Save room on play” option to automatically save before playtesting

  • Stairs can now be walked on correctly after loading saves
