Hello! Changes for the day:

What changed

  • Gameplay

  • Events
changedFurther reduced Reaver aggro generation in non-taunting stances.
changedChanged Reaver combat AI:
changed1.) Reavers are less likely to choose to cast a spell as a combat action if they're spec'd in strength more than intelligence
addedProficiencies are a bit of a confusing topic for new players. Having them share the same name as the stats they affect was probably not the best idea, from a design point of view. Because of that, Proficiencies are all renamed, but functionality exactly the same as before.
addedI've also added descriptions in the "Proficiency Point Allocation" window to further clarify.
addedYou can now UNINVITE someone to your group before they arrive. The "invite" button on the group builder and guild manager doubles as this feature. If you select a simplayer who is already invited, the button will change to "uninvite". For those of you who like to spam click invite, beware!

Reavers:

-Further reduced Reaver aggro generation in non-taunting stances.

-Changed Reaver combat AI:

1.) Reavers are less likely to choose to cast a spell as a combat action if they're spec'd in strength more than intelligence

2.) Reavers as tanks won't crowd their targets so heavily anymore so the target doesn't begin to spin around trying to face the Reaver.

Proficiencies

Proficiencies are a bit of a confusing topic for new players. Having them share the same name as the stats they affect was probably not the best idea, from a design point of view. Because of that, Proficiencies are all renamed, but functionality exactly the same as before.

Strength Proficiency --> Physicality

Endurance Proficiency --> Hardiness

Dexterity Proficiency --> Finesse

Agility Proficiency --> Defense

Intelligence Proficiency --> Arcanism

Wisdom Proficiency --> Restoration

Charisma Proficiency --> Mind

I've also added descriptions in the "Proficiency Point Allocation" window to further clarify.

Grouping

-You can now UNINVITE someone to your group before they arrive. The "invite" button on the group builder and guild manager doubles as this feature. If you select a simplayer who is already invited, the button will change to "uninvite". For those of you who like to spam click invite, beware!

Other

-Fixed a few sounds that didn't respect volume sliders

-"SPIRITS OF ERENSHOR" guild events now popup in a chat window to get your attention
