Hostile Intelligence Update

Attention Operatives,

Command has detected a significant escalation in Hostile defensive behavior within most Erebos Shards.

Field reports confirm that in select areas, Hostiles have deployed Heightened Defense Zones: heavily reinforced sections protected by energy shields and sustained by multiple external energy sources. These defenses render core structures temporarily immune to direct damage. Expect intense resistance: these areas seem to be designed to saturate the combat zone with sustained projectile patterns and maintain continuous suppression.

The motivation behind these reinforcements remains unclear. Preliminary scans suggest that reinforced zones are more likely to contain valuable equipment, making them high-risk, high-reward engagements for Operatives. Command cannot yet determine whether Hostiles are attempting to deny Operatives access to particularly powerful gear, or whether they are securing these locations for their own research efforts.

As always, Operatives are encouraged to report their findings. Your feedback, whether related to these new defensive systems or any other aspect of the Loop, remains critical to improving survivability and restoring stability to Erebos.
