Hello everyone 🌟
Today, we’d like to share a new development update for EONA for the month of February!
This month, a large part of the work focused on the visual side of the game. New animations were created to make the characters feel more alive, especially EONA, her puppet, and Melusine. Several world-building elements were also reworked, improving the readability of different rooms and strengthening the overall atmosphere. In addition, new furniture and assets were created, giving us more flexibility when adjusting environments and helping better establish the setting of Melusine’s story.
On the audio side, character-related sounds have now been integrated, with adjustments made where necessary. What remains is to apply this work to the remaining chapters in order to keep the sound experience consistent throughout the game.
In terms of design, we ran into some issues with the game menus, which caused a bit of delay on that front. Some level design adjustments were still made, though a few areas still need further rework. Melusine’s behavior and patterns have been revised, and many small fixes were implemented, as attention to detail is essential.
February was a very busy month. Even though it caused some delays, it was absolutely worth it — because a big surprise will be waiting for you at the end of the month 👀✨
