Endorphin Vice changes
Insane Double Optimization: Up to +60 FPS
This update brings a massive leap in performance through two major technical overhauls:
1. Complete Character Rebuild (33% Frame Cost Reduction):
I have recreated the characters from absolute zero. By completely rewriting their logic, animations, modularity, compatibility, and AI, the system is now incredibly smooth. This monumental task alone dropped the processing time from 17.73ms down to 11.86ms per frame. We recovered ~5.87 ms, which represents a massive 33% reduction in the total cost per frame when having 33 characters on screen.
OLD (56 fps and 17.73 ms)
The Result:
Combined, the character optimization and the removal of Lumen will give you a raw, highly stable increase of 20 to 40+ FPS. The game is now insanely optimized. NEW (IGNORE CLOTH) JUST LOOK AT THE MS AND FPS DIFF
2. Goodbye Lumen:
We are officially removing Lumen forever. While it looked good, it was consuming an unjustifiable amount of GPU and CPU resources.
3. Dynamic AI & New Horde System
The brain of the enemy AI has been entirely rebuilt for maximum smoothness and tactical realism:
Brutal New Horde System (WAVES):
Completely dynamic, heavily optimized, and brutally realistic wave -based combat. They will hunt you down flawlessly.
Civilians will run away at the safest position:
If you start shooting, the AI will now actively run away from you to find the safest possible location. (civilians)
Realistic Police of Behaviour:
Police units now have strict logic and will only open fire on armed suspects.
Improved Smoothness: Overall AI navigation and decision-making are vastly more fluid.
Next-Level Gore Realism
We are turning up the anatomical accuracy to 100%
Exposed Internal Anatomy:
Organs, veins, arteries, and bones are now fully visible and much more detailed when flesh is destroyed (they were a little hidden before).
Breakable Hand Bones:
Shooting an enemy in the hands will now shatter their bones with realistic physics.
New Audio:
Added terrifyingly realistic screams to match the new physical damage system.
A Note on Executions & Melee
Transparency is key. Because the characters and AI have been entirely recreated from zero, porting the melee fights and execution systems to this new architecture is a complex task. Rather than delaying this massive FPS and Horde update for a whole month, I have decided to temporarily disable executions and melee fights. They will return in a future update, better than ever.
thanks for buying my game... i will always be grateful on the people who support me, a forever thanks.
