addedHello everyone, back with another development update! I hope you've been enjoying the new Makai Stage and all the additions that came with it! I'll be talking here about some details on what's coming next for Elite Exorcist Miko!
changedFirstly, some changes are coming to material acquisition! So far, it may have been unclear as to how the game determines what materials you obtain and when, since you only ever saw your rewards at the end of a stage or upon game over. The next update will change this so that materials are physically spawned at random upon defeating enemies, requiring you to move nearby to collect them!
changedMaterials won't disappear over time, so don't worry about them despawning if you're busy dealing with barrages of bullets! Materials obtained from defeating Bosses or via Simple Sealing will spawn this way as well, although those will be auto-collected so it'll only be a visual change. Average material quantities will also be increased across the board!
changedReward displays in the stage clear, game over and expedition summary screens will group the same materials together for better readability!
addedAs for the content for the next update, you may be aware from previous posts that the next Extra Stage is now in the works! I'm pleased to report that the music is complete, and the art is well underway! The unlock process for this stage will be somewhat easier than the one for the existing Extra Stage, and will come with a new Key Item that can also be used in normal runs.

But before that, just throwing it out there that Elite Exorcist Miko is currently 35% off for the Steam Summer Sale, until July 10th! Although if you're reading this, you most likely already have the game.

What could this be? Hopefully you'll find out soon, since I'm aiming to have this update released sometime next month! Anyway, that's all for now!
