Hello all, We wanted to take a minute out and let everyone know that we have a significant update coming up next week! We're hoping to get this out Wednesday, Thursday on the outside.

addedA new DataBank feature that will let you learn more about how to play the game, and we'll also provide supplementary information on the different real-world events going on during the game time/
addedNew turns will begin with a "Newsletter" rather than the popout from the phone in the bottom right. We want to give you more space to explore the things happening each turn. Right now we've moved all the events over to the Newsletter, and we're also working on procedurally generating news to correspond with how your in-game actions are affecting things. In addition we've built out a "News Ticker"

We have some end game animations we're putting together and also you'll be able to explore the map once the game is finished if you want to just mine around for more information :) As a strategy and specifically political game junkie myself when the game is over I want to absorb all that information and really dig into what happened, so we'll try to give you players that experience.
addedAdding more activity to the Candidates. With the newsletter creating procedural news, we think there's a great opportunity to do something similar with Candidates. We'd like to have them giving speeches and traveling around the states and generating news, letting you know what's going on, and generally keeping you more immersed in their world.

We wanted to take a minute out and let everyone know that we have a significant update coming up next week! We're hoping to get this out Wednesday, Thursday on the outside.

There will be several big items coming out.

  1. A new DataBank feature that will let you learn more about how to play the game, and we'll also provide supplementary information on the different real-world events going on during the game time/

  2. New turns will begin with a "Newsletter" rather than the popout from the phone in the bottom right. We want to give you more space to explore the things happening each turn. Right now we've moved all the events over to the Newsletter, and we're also working on procedurally generating news to correspond with how your in-game actions are affecting things. We've got some more coming very soon after.

  1. The Infiltrator is nearly ready, so we'll be releasing him ASAP

  2. Phishing Sites that will allow you to really dig in and start stealing money and generally getting more directly involved in the candidate's success or failure, outside of advertising and hacking.
