New Candidate Dossier Screen

We just pushed up a new update that introduces the Hacker Dossier.

Now when you hack Candidates, you'll get a dossier on their priorities, how much money they have, how many ads they're running in a state, if they are polling, and what their fundraising looks like. We managed to squeeze in a historical feature as well that wasn't originally planned. Now, you can also see what the Candidates were up to every turn leading up to the hack when you hack a candidate! It makes sense, the candidates are keeping detailed files, and you're breaking in, so we wanted to give you the information that we felt might reasonably be accessible to a hacker. There is some oddity when using the new Hacker feature with a saved game, this is due to the fact that the historical information wasn't being collected. However, we did include a patch so the game ought not to crash, however, this historical information can't be displayed for previous versions of the game.

This update also is our first introduction to multiple monitors! In the future, we'll be leaning on the monitors more to give you a more detailed and immersive set of insights into what is going on in the game.

We're going to push up another update shortly. We're working on some enhancements to the End Game, making it a bit more entertaining/engaging/suspenseful!

Following that, we're working on 1. How we present the Events at the start of the turn. It feels like maybe we've outgrown having a popout on the bottom left. We'd like to find a way to communicate better the gravity of the events that are going on during the game! 2. The Infiltrator, we have a powerful new feature in mind to introduce the Infiltrator. 3. A new feature for the Hacker to set up and maintain phishing sites, this will encourage you to steal fundraising from the candidates, depriving them of cash while also funding your activities! 4. An interactive "encyclopedia," which will help you explore game concepts as needed.
