addedThe VillageThis month we’ve done a lot of asset work once again - houses, paths, boats, flower pots and crates, but most importantly goats! We expanded the village a good bit on either side to give space to all the new houses, spaces and decorations and also added a hill to the otherwise flat village grounds. We also adjusted the style of the houses to reflect the Swiss Alp Chalets better.
changedThe VillageBut that’s not all! We also changed the background quite significantly. Replacing the rolling hills and forests, are much more fitting snowy peaks and rocky cliffs.
addedWhat lurks in the wilderness? We’re also making a lot of progress in the narrative department and have finalized the factions that you can meet during runs. To begin with, we have a classic: the cultists, who might be showing a bit too much empathy towards the great eldritch influence around them. Next, we have the scientists, a small group of intellectuals which may or may not have ulterior motives for their presence. And lastly, you may have a run in with some noble hunters. Switzerland was quite popular for hunters during that time but especially in these woods with all the new and exciting monsters!
addedPlaytestingWe’ve had our first round of internal playtesting this month in which we put our new mechanics to the test. These early playtests help us lay a really strong foundation to see what players think of the mechanics before we are locked down and too far in production to change anything.
changedPlaytestingThis is it for this month's update! The next update will come to you in January, since we will take some well-earned holidays next month - so stay tuned for that!!
