Demo Build 104 released!

A new update for Ecrazeus Castle - Demo has been uploaded. Unfortunately it's a bit big (>400MB) due to various behind the scenes work on the game. Changes include: System Game now boots in Windowed mode by default.

Unfortunately it's a bit big (>400MB) due to various behind the scenes work on the game.

Changes include:

System

  • Game now boots in Windowed mode by default.

    • It should be easier to access the language switching from the top bar's Settings -> Change language

Magic Staves

  • Ice Staff, Thunder Staff and Flame Staff have a very generous (but finicky) aim assist.

    • As long as your character is looking in the general direction of the foe, it'll hit their exact position, even if there's a height difference. Try using it while jumping.

  • Those three staves have been slightly nerfed damage and firing speed wise to compensate, but they're beyond powerful now.

  • Staves that don't have aim assist have been untouched otherwise.

Weapons

  • Fixed a bug where the weapons did not actually become stronger stat-wise depending on the enhancement. It's now strongly recommended to use stronger enhancement weapons to deal more damage...

Enemies

  • ...because enemies scale HP a bit faster to compensate.

  • Enemies reduce your FEVER more when you get hit, and stronger level enemies reduce your FEVER more.

    • FEVER Retain is used to combat losing too much FEVER when hit, in addition to increasing Max Fever.

Treasure Chests

  • Randomly appearing chests might sometimes be typed in advance. Depending on the color, it'll be forced to drop either weapons, items, or... money. A red chest remains completely random (except that it'll never drop coins).

Boss

  • Added a toggle during the boss fight to switch between Boss Camera and Normal Camera.

    • It is unfortunately a bit finicky, so keep pressing it if it cooperates for the time being.

Visuals

  • Toned down the bloom in the Telescope Tower.

There are probably other minor changes that I can't recall right now.
