Ecrazeus Castle changes
A new version of the demo has been uploaded. Changes include:
Optimizations
An attempt has been made to optimize the processing load of enemies and enemy attack hitboxes, to get around an engine flaw with stat alteration events.
An attempt was made to clean up some unused meshes in the Egypt room that might cause some added processing stress.
Weapons
The "input delay" when using most Spears and Swords has been greatly reduced when on the ground, and shouldn't interfere as badly when attacking and then immediately trying to jump.
Chainsword still retains its delay for balance reasons.
Balance
Due to a bug with the stat assignment, which got fixed thanks to the attempt at optimizing the enemy stat alterations system, the balancing of both enemy Health and enemy damage has been changed.
Enemies gain slightly more health over each floor.
Enemies deal slightly less damage throughout each room.
The tower doesn't feature color variant enemies anymore, which were stronger variants.
The balance of the tower enemies has been adjusted.
The Easy course gives you 2 continues now.
Visual
Playing as Faune will now show a loading screen featuring her.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue in the Egypt map where the treasure room event did not spawn the treasure room.
Fixed the animation of the player running towards the tower.
Additionally, an easter egg has been added to a hidden area of the first room, which will require some unorthodox platforming to reach. If you find it, please share it online!
