addedBlogThis week, two new systems have been added: Adjacency, and Clustering. Adjacency needs to be researched, and will have you putting more thought into where to land your buildings. Clustering works on top of that, if a building has the same type all around it, a new create cluster button will appear, allowing them to merge. These clusters provide Large buffs to their production and also increase amount of dataliths gained from that type of building on Ascent.
addedBlogI've decided to hold off on the Codex system. It's basically a wiki and tutorial system, and kinda boring to work on. So instead of one large push, I'll just be adding bits and pieces as I work on other things.
addedBlogFor the next update , it's going to be a bigger one. The plan is to add the next prestige layer, and that will bring new game mechanics as well. That being said, it will probably take more than a week, mostly likely a few weeks. If you'd like to get updates on the progress, they will be posted on our discord.

A lot of people have been asking for where they can join the community or donate to support the game, so going forward, we'll be including links at the bottom of these update posts.

Lastly, I'm going to take the rest of the week off, just to recharge from IRL stuff, and then get right back into it.

New Features

  • Added Adjacency

Changes

  • Survey Hubs now should Max Exploration Range in their supplemental Description

  • Buildings that can expand now automatically turn off expansion if there are no available free tiles around them

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed researched tiles not saving and not counting for Ascent

  • Fixed the Mountain and Canyon chance creep reduction tech making the cost creep actually decrease over time, leading to way larger maps than planned.

  • Fixed Field Station Production and Building Cost being swapped

  • Optimized orbital and research tree objects

  • A variety of other tweaks and issues that are too small or too interconnected to mention here
