Detailed Adjustment
Text Adjustment
Both English and Spanish translations have been supervised and are now more correct.
The pitch of the conversational voice has been changed for each character.
Fixed an issue where texts would unnaturally break lines in the middle of dialogues.
Collections
If you research a collection you have not yet acquired, you can now receive hints from Shirohera about the conditions for acquiring it.
Ranking
The layout has been changed with the addition of bats and stages.
Items that have taken first place in records other than scores are now marked with a crown.
Bat Index
The layout has been changed with the addition of bats and stages.
Character Adjustment
Hina
- Echo Time:2.5 sec → 2.66 sec
Hina had a harder time aiming for high scores compared to the other bats, We have extended the echo time a little to make it easier to increase the number of combos.
Ohiki
- Echo Time:2 sec → 2.33 sec - Echo gauge charge speed multiplier: 1x → 1.25x
Ohiki was also less likely to aim for high scores than other bats, We have adjusted the echo time to make it easier to increase the number of combos.
Usagi
- Echo gauge charge start time: 1 sec. before the end of echo → 1.5 sec. before the end of echo
Usagi has adjusted the gauge so that when the echo is reused at its fastest, it is more fully gauged than in the past. This will increase the range of vision with the echo and make it easier to determine combo routes.
As the number of unique new bats has increased, the initial trio has been training their hunting skills in a losing cause!
Obake
- Acceleration: 2 → 4 - Echo Time:2 sec →2.25 sec - Echo gauge charge start time: 0.5 sec. before the end of echo → 1 sec. before the end of echo - Echo gauge charge speed multiplier: 1.2x → 1.25x - Acceleration (Fades): 6 → 2.5
Obake has been a powerful bat with the tactic of using a slowing echo to gather insects in one place for an oversized combo. However, while it was powerful, we feel that it was in a position where it was difficult to make adjustments that would strengthen it.
Obake was originally conceived to be a beginner bat that could be easily avoided with Fades and easily eaten by stopping insects with Echoes. One of the reasons for its appearance as the first hidden bat was that it was also supposed to be for beginners. However, with previous Obake bats, on the contrary, they were more difficult to operate and were more for advanced users, We decided to make a drastic rework, adjusting it specifically for ease of handling.
First, acceleration has been increased, making it easier to turn around the movement. Instead, the acceleration at Fades has been reduced, but this is an improvement over the original, which was too high and therefore difficult to maneuver. For obake, which has no dash and cannot make quick turns, the enhanced mobility is a significant enhancement. We can now catch up a little with the speed of the much admired Ohiki.
Next, we have also made some adjustments related to echoes. When the echo is reused at the fastest speed, the gauge is now more accumulated than before, though, This is not a simple enhancement, but also a weakening factor. Why is that? Because the increased minimum size of the echo makes it harder to use the tactic of gathering insects close to the Obake. This adjustment is more important for the original concept of "stopping insects and making them easier to eat" than for more difficult tactics. However, since it would be unbalanced to make it too weak, we have also made some adjustments to increase the echo time a little and make it easier to increase the number of combos.
The feel of the new Obake will be very different from the previous version, but we hope you will enjoy hunting with the new, more honest Obake.
Yama & Kitty
- Kitty's echo size: 1/3 of Yama's echo size -> 2/3 of Yama's echo size
The echo size of the kitty has simply doubled, making it easier to find the bug where the kitty was flown. I am worried about Yama's eardrums since they are now twice as loud.
Tengu
- Acceleration: 2→3 - stopping power: 10→5 - Acceleration (in echo): 10→8
Tengu had a personality that increased the speed of movement while echoing, However, there was a problem that it became too much faster than its normal speed, making it difficult to control. Therefore, we increased Tengu's normal speed and slowed it down a little during echoes, The difference between the two is not so large. The increased acceleration is also intended to compensate for Tengu's inability to dash.
Although his mobility during echoes has decreased a little, it may be a sign that Tengu has grown up enough to be able to handle his masked state, where he used to be a rampaging horse.
New Characters
Madara
Release condition: High score of 400 points or more.
Madara uses a special echo, not a fixed length echo like the other bats, The echo is used for as long as the echo button is held down, and is interrupted when the echo button is released. When an echo is triggered, the gauge is not consumed all at once, but rather gradually while the echo is being used.
If the echo gauge is built up to the maximum and used up to the end, the echo length is the longest among all bats! It is difficult to manage the echo gauge, but if you master it, you can aim for an extra-large combo.
The characteristic of moving while holding down the echo button makes it difficult to dash at the same time, making it hard to make a quick turn, However, its basic movement performance is high, so it can be operated comfortably even without a dash.
Kaguya
Release condition: Collect 5 specific collections.
Kaguya uses a special echo to attract and catch insects that enter within the echo's range. It is a powerful echo, but it has a feature that shortens its effect time depending on the amount of echo gauge remaining when it is used. In order to earn combos, it is important to accumulate the echo gauge as well as Madara before echoing.
Another feature is that instead of the echo gauge affecting the time of use, the size of the echo is fixed. Echoes that form a beautiful circular shape resemble a full moon.
The stronger the echo, the lower the movement ability and the more slowly it moves, so beware of enemies more than usual.
Bug Fixed
Fixed an issue where some count-based achievements could not be acquired. If you start the game after the update, the flag for acquisition will be checked again.
Fixed an issue where the text size was not correct and was displayed incorrectly.
Fixed a problem in which the text would sometimes overflow the frame depending on the language being displayed.
Fixed an issue in which all characters were using fonts that were not compatible with Spanish when the language setting was set to Spanish.
Fixed an issue where the character image would not display properly if the character landed on the ceiling or floor during the tutorial.
Currently confirmed unfixed bugs
Depending on the environment in which you play, the customization of the controller settings may not function and the game may become inoperable. If you lose control of the game, you will need to stop the game once.
Collections that were supposed to be picked up in the town may not have been obtained. This has been confirmed to occur when repeatedly hitting the "Result" screen.
We are currently working to correct these issues. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
