This update is primarily spent polishing a ton of game features and fixing some of the most commonly reported issues.

New Features:

  • Improved terrain snow shader

  • General UI and icon updates

    • Improved UI text hint style

    • Added new “Final Phase” warning

  • New ammo pickup system allowing squadmates to share compatible ammunition. This allows for example British infantry to carry ammo for the Bren gunner, just like it was in WW2

  • Reworked hit registration system with more accurate hitmarker and penetration feedback

  • Reworked medical treatment system: now requires analysis of injury to know how to save patient

  • Improved various cannon firing animations

  • Added QF 6-pounder L50 and M1 57mm gun

  • Camo Additions

    • Added Sherman “Sheik” camo (late 1943 / early 1944 – Italy)

    • New German mid-war bicolor and late-war tricolor camouflages

    • Improved Soviet camouflages to resemble whitewash over green base

    • Added additional Soviet camouflages for Sherman tanks

    • New yellow star and stripe Stuart camo (seen in Tunisia)

    • New system to visually represent vehicles as burned after internal component explosions (for vehicles supporting camo system)

    • Radio operators can now independently call artillery and tank support without requiring leader requests

    • Reworked coordinate system converting inputs into real in-game world coordinates

    • Dedicated minimap UI for pinpointing artillery strikes

    • Ability to select artillery shell type during radio call interaction

    • Additional polishing and improvements to the radio system

  • Quick press L1/LB reassigned to switch camera mode (FPS/TPS) for improved gamepad usability

  • Support for the Hungarian alphabet

  • Localization improvements and upgrades

  • Improvements to various squad loadouts

  • New fence model for the style of "Cattle Fence 02"

  • New map editor mass replace / rotate / scale feature

  • Fixed a bug causing AI vehicles moving to the direct center of objectives instead of random positions around them. Expect an increase in AI vehicle competency with this fix!

  • Fixed bayonet installation system issues

  • Corrected Stuart Honey periscope functionality

  • Resolved rare crash issues on Nintendo Switch (Update pending approval for the Nintendo console)

  • Fixed retreat retreat order triggering when entering a destroyed vehicle as infantry squad

  • Adjusted and refined cannon explosion effects

  • Fixed prop collision issues and improved map prop loading performance

  • Resolved ammo refill incorrectly adding a dummy Panzerfaust rocket

  • Fixed Carcano M91/38 bolt model

  • Corrected Sherman meshes and materials
