E-Lich: Corporate Souls changes
Sometimes there are so many tasks at work that we get a little bit lost. But not lost enough to the point of not delivering a cool new update for you!
Your feedback has been really invaluable to us, and we're giving it actual priority (wish they did that with the actual employee's feedback) so your work experience feels even better!
As always, you can just skip all the highlights and read it all in the Changelog. BUT, to help you find the coolest additions, how about reading about the minimap? Yeap, we got one now!
Minimap
As we added the incredibly fun Office Challenges, and plan to add even more things to do mid-work in the future, one thing you kept complaining about was "how do we find them?". And we agree that is unacceptable, after all, you must always be able to do extra work at all times!
Because of that, our R&D sector has worked to the bone to bring you our first ever Minimap feature! With that at your disposal, you'll always be able to locate Office Challenges whenever they're in your area, and will even get a helpful tracker of its current objective. So no more excuses to not go the extra mile and do even more work tasks! Now go do it... yes, I mean now!

Added a Minimap!
Now you can easily spot Challenges, Chests and Boss enemies
Added Dialogue Notification Markers!
Now, when an NPC has a new dialogue, a notification icon will appear above their head
Improved Adventurer naming system to prevent names from repeating so often
Added more Challenge objectives and rewards variations
Challenge info is now also displayed in the right side of the screen to help you better visualize your current goal
Office Challenges' UI have had their size reduced by 50% and now have slight transparency
Boon Rewards will now have their icon/art displayed in the Challenge's Reward/Success UI
Improved the colliders (hit box) on several objects across multiple stages to help prevent situations where the player can get stuck on objects
A Level Design revision will happen in the near future to further improve this
Ultrawide 21:9 Resolution Changes
The game now limits Display Mode options to Windowed and Borderless Windowed mode when playing on a monitor with an aspect wider than 16:9
This should now update automatically once you open the game on this update
If that doesn't happen and you have previously played on Fullscreen on a 21:9 display, please ensure your current Display Mode setting is set to Borderless Windowed
This ensures the highest possible resolution applied is 16:9 (likely QHD 2560x1440)
There should be no noticeable performance differences between Borderless Windowed and Exclusive Fullscreen on both Windows 10 and 11
Ultrawide is currently not officially supported, so this change is being made to prevent further issues with UI scaling for users with Ultrawide monitors
Balancing
Challenge Rewards have been reworked to prevent insanely high stat rewards
Improved Challenges' spawn logic to factor in player level, ensuring fairer challenges and rewards throughout the run
"High Risk x High Reward" moments have not been affected. This change is only meant to prevent the player from instantly completing super easy challenges or finding challenges at moments where he would have no way to beat them
Some challenges now no longer required enemies to be inside the area in order to count towards the objective
This is meant to prevent common situations where you're too strong and enemies aren't able to reach the challenge's area, often causing you to fail the challenge
Doubled the HP of the Exploding Spiders in the Mines Stage
Challenges now use the player's level as a condition for spawning
This means harder challenges won't appear super early on when you certainly wouldn't be able to complete them
Fixes
Fixed some Status Effects not enabling tooltips
Fixed boons rewarded by Office Challenges still appearing in the pool, which could cause duplicates
Fixed a performance issue caused by having several challenges spawned at once
Fixed an issue where the name of the current stage was displayed incorrectly
Fixed a soft-lock when speaking to the Accounting Mage for the first time while playing in Portuguese
Fixed an issue where quickly collecting two chests would result in the second one not opening the Artifacts selection screen
Fixed an issue where the "Level" text in the Results Screen was being written twice
Fixed the Level displayed in the Results Screen being written with 1 less level
Improved Localization Initialization, which should hopefully prevent texts from being displayed as localization keys instead of actual text
Fixed an issue where the game's Pause State could be inverted upon unplugging and plugging back a controller
Fixed the second boss stealing the first boss's name
Fixed many PT-BR localization issues
