E-Lich: Corporate Souls changes
There are so many cool things happening at once that I don't know where to start, so I'll try starting with the more time-sensitive thing: the Sale! And by that I mean the one we're participating in right now!
The 2026 edition of the Made In Brazil Sale has started today, and as is now tradition, we're participating in it, bearing gifts! This incredible annual event is a community-based effort from Brazilian developers to showcase and share games that were, you guessed it, made in Brazil. We're really proud to be participating, so show the event some love by sharing it with your friends so they can discover and buy some cool games, starting with ours!
By the way, the Legal team says we're supposed to spoil you from time to time, so we're bringing you two things in this event: a whooping 20% discount (pratically free) and a cool new Regular Update.
While tradition tells me I should just tell you to skip the rest of the post and read the Changelog directly, Inhuman Resources has threatened me to showcase this Update's main feature first. So please behold and be amazed by a much requested addition: Office Challenges!
Office Challenges
Do you ever start wondering what's the point of mindless slaughter ininterrupted reaping? Question yourself if there is something more to the afterlife? The answer is yes there is: extra specific reaping... with extra rewards!
Now, during your runs, you will sometime find strange monoliths, by interacting with them, you are legally binded to test your capabilities through a challenge sent to you by the Office (or as a dare from one of your coworkers), beat it within the stipulated rules and earn yourself some cool new rewards! Neat huh? And don't worry, this feature will grow and evolve a lot in the future!

Added Office Challenges!
They can spawn randomly during runs on every map, with different objectives, difficulties and rewards!
Status Effects Reworked!
Completely reworked the Status Effects system to be more efficient and customizeable
Added 10 New Status Effect-related Boons!
Improved performance when several status effects were applied to many enemies at once
Added new Status Effects - with more to come soon!
Improved Status Effect VFXs
Reworked and improved the NPC desks in the lobby
Updated the animated portraits in some Business Growth-related dialogues
Added an indicator arrow in the lobby to help lost new players find the elevator
Appears if you stay still in the lobby for a while, as company policy dictates you shouldn't be idling around the lobby when you can be reaping souls instead
Balancing
Increased the amount of Exp given by the Mines Stage's enemies
Curse now reduces enemies' Damage instead of Armor
A new stat, "Corrosion", has been added, which reduces Armor
Fixes
Fixed some lobby items floating after being unlocked through the Business Growth
Fixed an issue that caused random VFX to play after changing settings while you have the Mist of Misery spell
Adjusted some UI elements' positions in the Results Screen
