Patch Notes, V8.9.9.4 : Who rang?

Ûnsae Been hammering away at some small fixes as well as improving the handling of the Boomerang type weapons. Still some work to be done, but the majority of it is now checked off the list. Current Patch V 8.9.9.

Added

  • Boomerangs now give you a small upwards puff if you jump onto them after they unstick from surfaces, allowing for more traversal options as you explore

  • Boomerangs now have SFX for throw, in flight and getting stuck, sorry this took so long

  • Boomerangs now have a more robust way to unstick from surfaces

Fixed

  • Juriels events, which are now fully tested and completable

  • Aktanis now properly removes the "Key Item" for his event

  • Sandshark death issue

Various

  • World has been prepared to split our heaviest zone into two. This should help early game performance and load times down the line & hopefully it will allow the Steam Deck to run a solid 30fps early game. This comes at the cost of a more load-zones.

  • Improved overlap logic on some old systems

Known Issues

  • Micro-stutter due to shader cache miss

  • Textures sometimes need a swap between the quality modes to display properly

  • Glyph functionality mis-match in rebinding Flicks

  • Music levels of certain pieces not tied to any slider

  • Severity slider for Color Blindness resets to full

  • Underside of balcony in Lower Waycastle can be seen through from below
