Developer Notes
This update focuses on UI reliability, gameplay flow, and several quality-of-life improvements requested by the community. It also introduces new features, content updates, and map changes aimed at improving combat readability, mission flow, and overall strategic control.
Fixes & Improvements
Backward savegame compatibility – Fixed an edge case caused by corrupted progression data that could prevent new missions from unlocking.
Building selection UI – Fixed inconsistencies in the building selection box display.
Drone naval attack – Fixed an issue where drones were unable to attack naval units.
Game UI panels – Resolved layout issues affecting the UI panels.
Minimap – Fixed multiple minimap issues related to visibility, zoom behavior, and scaling.
Features & Changes
Garrison capacity – Introduced a limit on the number of units that can be garrisoned in a single structure.
Mantis SFX – Improved sound effects for the Mantis unit.
Naval unit repairs – The Shipyard now repairs nearby naval units automatically.
New mission cinematics – Added new FMV sequences for WWA 9.1, WWA 10.1; EAO 8.1, EAO 9.1, EAO 10.1 and EAO 14.1.
Primary building selection – You can now assign a primary building as the default spawn point for newly produced units by setting its spawn flag.
Substance D amount – Increased Substance D amount from 100 to 200 units per resource element.
Unit garrison orders – Units now respect garrison orders and no longer stop to engage enemies while moving to a garrisoned structure.
Map Changes
Various minor map updates to improve mission flow, readability, and encounter balance.
Savegame Compatibility Notice
For the duration of Early Access, we cannot guarantee savegame compatibility between updates. While saves may continue to function between versions, significant changes may require starting a mission or campaign again for the best experience. Your overall campaign progress and unlocks remain independent and will always remain safe.
