Don't upgrade if you want maximum performance at the risk of crashing.
Instance pooling turned off
I think instance pooling, a technique for optimizing framerate when there's a TON of shots on the screen, was slightly instable, and causing weird behavior and crashes sometimes.
I removed this optimization for this build. So there will be about a 10% decrease in performance.
For example, with instance pooling, and 2500 shots on the screen, 65 fps. Without instance pooling, and same 2500 shots on the screen, 57 fps.
If you still experience any crashes (especially ones without an error report) LET ME KNOW!
Shots upgrade
Also, by request, increased the maximum number of times you can get the "Shots do more damage" upgrade
Week off
I have been struggling with the game updates for the last couple of weeks. I think I need to take a week off, let my creative energy refill, and, probably more importantly, take care of a bunch of things outside of the game that I've been putting off. These things have been nagging me (you need to do this!) constantly for weeks, so I'm going to try and get a bunch of these things done. All to say, there may not be an update at the end of this week. This week, I'm not requiring myself to push an update. I apologize for the delay.
On another note, one of these things will be setting up my office for streaming. So after this I can do things like live coding / streaming.
