Controls & Movement

While we were focused on the initial release, we knew the controls weren't quite perfect. Your feedback helped us pinpoint this.

  • Movement: Should be more enjoyable now, especially acceleration for a smoother walk-to-run transition.

  • Air ControlImproved control while jumping to avoid that annoying "reverse impulse" feeling.

Physics & Water

  • Crates & BuoyancyWater physics were adjusted so crates bounce less crazily
  • Mass & Gravity: Falling objects now have better mass in the gravity calculation.

  • Water: You can now try to climb out of the water much more easily.

Level segments update ːmissingː

Every segment is now updated visually to indicate exits from water (look for green crystals for exits). Additionally to that, a tutorial was updated to explain mechanics and visual indicators in the game.

Small Fixes & Polishing ːmediconː

  • PhysicsFixed the bug where floating objects would spin infinitely in the water.
  • AudioFixed an issue where the wrong surface sounds were playing on certain textures.
  • Interactions with objectsUpdated the physics for the objects to reduce the impulse effect so that the player could use it as a "Catapult" (was fun but not for everyone).
  • Possible Black Screen FixRendering logic was updated to possibly resolve the black screen issue. We haven't been able to reproduce this on our own hardware yet, but we’re hoping these changes do the trick! If you still see a black screen, please let us know.

What would be next?

We are still working on level randomization improvements. To make the game longer, we also need to add a save system, which some of you want. We can't give a specific date yet when this will be done, but we will introduce more segments and better randomization.

P.S.

Just to say to you. Thanks for playing and helping us make our game better. Your feedback helps us to learn, and if you run into any issues or have ideas, just let us know in the Discord or the Steam forums.
