As always, we want to start by thanking you for the continued support, feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. To the kind-hearted players on Steam, Discord, and everyone playing — your support truly means a lot to us, and it helps guide the development of Dreadzone.
This update focuses on fixing and improving several systems, addressing reported issues, and continuing optimization work across the game.
🛠️ Patch Notes:
Fixed a bug where achievements were not progressing or completing correctly
Winter weather “Snowing” is now a more rare occurrence
POI reset duration increased by 3x
Fixed a bug allowing the Respawn Menu to be closed after death using ESC / Back button
Fixed a bug where the Wandering Trader could become hostile if the player shot someone nearby
Fixed issue related to vegetation blur
Fixed minor bug causing reflection issues
Fixed certain UI element issues
Fixed minor DBuffer issue
Fixed performance issues related to Z-Pass
Fixed and improved Translucency Lighting performance
Fixed rendering issues related to Ray Tracing
Improved overall level rendering performance
Improved shadow, lighting, and volumetric optimization
Improved Virtual Texture optimization
Improved Entity Spawn System performance
Improved melee weapon hit detection
Balanced and tweaked melee weapon stats
Balancing and tweaking to item values
