changedThe waters have settled once again, and with that, the latest DREADMOOR public playtest has come to an end. During Steam Ocean Fest, players spent time in the Submerged Lands fishing, scavenging, exploring, and seeing just how much trouble they could get into before the Wastes pushed back.
changedAcross the playtest, the flooded world saw plenty of activity. Boats moved through the swamp, lines were cast into uncertain waters, lockpicks were broken, and the trading hut became an unexpectedly popular place to stop. Some players were careful. Others were less careful, falling victim to the tentacles!
changedThese numbers will now remain as part of DREADMOOR ’s growing record, proof that the Submerged Lands were visited, tested, disturbed, and very thoroughly fished.
changedThe results of this playtest will now feed back into the development of DREADMOOR . The numbers are useful, but so are the moments behind them: where players took risks, where they hesitated, where things broke, and where the world started to feel alive.
