This is a broad cleanup, balance, and bugfix update focused on traps, doors, quest flow, shops, saves, encounter pacing, dungeon presentation, and many smaller playability fixes.

Added

  • Added monster presence sound cues for many dangerous creatures.

  • Added a blacksmith repair service for damaged, torn, and rusty equipment.

  • Added a sell-all-junk shop action with confirmation text.

  • Added procedural secret rooms to most dungeon floors.

  • Added generic altar prayer interactions, with a one-time luck chance per altar.

  • Added resistances to the character sheet.

Changed

  • Reworked pitons into pry tools for doors and locked chests, while still supporting pit use.

  • Reworked acid lock melting into a roll-based action, with stronger acid flasks added to loot and shops.

  • Rebalanced door lockpicking and door-kicking DCs, including tougher story doors.

  • Cheap lockpicks now carry an appropriate lockpicking penalty.

  • Most dungeon chests are now locked more often.

  • Reworked caltrops: they now last for three triggers, roll DEX saves, deal damage, and can apply a short ATK/DEF penalty.

  • Tuned kit weight, durability use, first-aid pricing, ration prices, backpack carry support, and related inventory text.

  • Rebalanced world-map random encounter pacing. Dragon hunts now replace successful random encounters instead of rolling as an extra layer, preventing excessive dragon spawns.

  • Dragon hunt landings now appear closer and leave clearer impact tracks and rubble.

  • Reduced overall dungeon spawn rates slightly and increased enemy XP slightly.

  • Toughened Desolate Docks and improved its boss room setup.

  • Reworked White Seal Tower generation into larger, more tower-like marble floors.

  • Moved deep blackglass enemies out of Underway Pass and Starfall Burrow, reserving them for later scar content.

  • Bumped several weak boss and quest rewards.

  • Adjusted healing potion, ring, elixir, lucky affix, and resistance item pricing and frequency.

  • Simplified merchant examine roles and improved shop, gamepad, and phone tab controls.

  • Optimized save serialization and persistence, including raw payloads, bitpacked explored data, stable slot identity, and less save/archive overhead.

Quest, Zone, And Writing Cleanup

  • Cleaned up Stonecleft Commons layout and dialogue.

  • Clarified Stonecleft Lamp Run text and lamp oil reward dialogue.

  • Clarified Beacon Prism and White Vault quest handoff text.

  • Fixed White Seal amulet purification so it transforms the correct story amulet.

  • Required the Starfall hand-in before the Underway gate opens.

  • Improved Smuggler quest text and journal clues for the hidden lower floor.

  • Clarified several quest journal entries, route directions, and story door cues.

  • Improved Ser Caldus pre-quest chatter.

Fixes And Polish

  • Fixed compact combat message formatting for attack, wound, kill, spell damage, chill, and resistance messages.

  • Fixed PP level penalties incorrectly reducing max PP.

  • Fixed autoexplore behavior around unrevealed traps, rope and piton-covered pits, boulders, decoys, secret doors, and unseen enemies.

  • Fixed secret door and concealed feature visuals.

  • Fixed water and acid traps applying same-turn standing-liquid effects after trap damage.

  • Fixed trap disarm failures triggering traps too often on near misses.

  • Fixed non-bleedable monsters gaining bleeding or spawning blood effects.

  • Fixed several monster glyph and color inconsistencies.

  • Fixed rubble spawning on walls or trap tiles.

  • Fixed rest interruption and hostile checks.

  • Fixed targeting camera behavior when opening target mode.

  • Fixed Android and phone lifecycle, music pause, and shop shoulder controls.

  • Added more dungeon decoration, blood decoration, Orc Fortress dressing, themed stair props, and cleaner container prop presentation.

Game version is now v102.
