changedThe simple fact is we've been heads down working our tails off to make Dragonhold as awesome as we can. We've made some improvements that really help spice the game up.
addedThe Director: We've build an AI director to manage the enemies, bosses, and spawns, to make sure players are always engaged and have something new coming up. This director is going to watch the players and determine how best to challenge them as they play. You may be facing a horde, or a mini boss when you least expect it... so... uh.... expect it!
addedHub / Base / castle Building: This isn't your typical micro-management style base building. Players each get a hub world/island, and you're tasked with rebuilding Dragonhold castle. Each time you complete a mission, you get an anchor stone to shift a portion of the castle back into our reality. Additionally, you gain resources in Azarkeen from chest and defeating enemies, that you can use to build your castle town. Each building unlocks new features and gives you greater capability. The best way to imagine this is as a visual tech tree in addition to the player abilities tree. Steam post image
changedCombat: We've made significant improvements to combat to make the game feel more impactful. Now when you fight a group of enemies, you really feel every hit! Try going in with friends and face down a group of goblins or a stampeding herd of gobbler's and live to tell the tale. Steam post image
changedDispel Rumors: There's been some confusion about Dragonhold, and I think it's important to address that. This game is not an MMO, and it's not PVP -only. We have a PVP mode, but you play it if you want to, it's 100% up to you. Dragonhold can be played solo, or with friends in CO-OP PVE. We've spent a lot of time making sure players can enjoy this game by themselves if they want, so engaging in any kind of multiplayer is entirely up to you.

  • The hand of Fate: The hand of fate is dealt each time you travel to Azarkeen from your hub. It may make this particular run easy, hard, insane, zombie infested... who knows. The cards you're dealt must be contended with, and as you play you may find cards that you can play to change your fate when the time comes.
