Since releasing the demo, I’ve been watching people play and carefully reading your feedback. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts ❤️ The most common issue was around the controls feeling confusing or frustrating, so this update focuses on making the experience clearer, smoother, and more comfortable to play.

One of the design goals is one-hand keyboard play. All actions are mapped to keep controls simple and leave your mouse hand free. Mouse interaction will also be available if you prefer it, and I’m continuing to refine this so it feels intuitive. Controller support is also in progress.

What’s changed in the demo

Controls

  • Mouse cursor is now always visible to improve clarity

  • Added ESC to cancel actions and a cancel card to all interactions

  • Tooltips now show controls while interaction menus are open

  • Improved visuals for the selected card and updated client interaction icons

Balance & Economy

  • Reduced difficulty: fewer dragons arrive at once and clients have more patience

  • Faster service bonuses: confetti deliveries grant extra coins

  • Group tables now reward more money and keep orders visible longer

  • Orders remain on screen longer to help with planning

  • Table setup time reduced from 4s to 3s

Gameplay & Flow

  • Tray now works per card interaction, allowing coin pickup even when full

  • Improved logic for selecting interactable objects

  • Camera limits added in build mode

  • Trash can can no longer be sold to avoid blockers

  • Kitchen can no longer be moved to keep level flow clear

  • Food and drinks left on tables can now be reused if not eaten

Tutorials & Fixes

  • Added new small and large tutorials to introduce mechanics

  • Fixed UI issues, typos, and localization errors

  • Fixed bugs related to key prompts and lost plates

  • Controller support

I’ll keep iterating based on how people play, so if you try the updated demo, I’d love to hear what feels better and what still needs work. Your feedback genuinely helps shape the game.
