DownhillMadness changes
This new update fixed many UI issues and includes gamepad support as well as many other quality of life improvements to DownhillMadness. Here is the full changelog:
Added gamepad default mappings and support for gamepad functionality
Fixed aiming coordinates to show only one decimal place always so they're less distracting
Got rid of training level in arcade mode since it's required in adventure mode
Fixed bug where occasionally arcade highscores would be ranked incorrectly
Changed firing rate adjustments to be more fine and have a lower maximum cap of 50/sec to match framerate limits
Added - and + keys ability to change firing rate without having to shoot gun, which displays on screen when adjusted, with new fadeout effect
Streetlamp plinko level lights decreased brightness
10x+ ball counter challenge stops at 5 minutes as listed
Capslock toggles the tab scoresheet, scoresheet left justified on screen to show maximum info and screen space
Fox discovery message only shows when it's discovered the very first time
6% bonus interest calculation at end of each round in arcade now applies to lowest amount of money held at any point during round (aka unspent money)
Trophy plinth has a handy display showing how many foxes have been found on that level!
Income explanations of last scored projectiles now stacks the text to show multiple entries as they occur (keeps a running tab)
Left side has a "new record!" text box that also stacks as it occurs
Also added "new medal" popup when a new medal is achieved
All levels now have scoring areas as they should
Added multiplier hoops to every level and improved existing ones, now it's possible to get 10x+ on every level
Added adjustable power to the wind blower gun and increased the overall power 10x
Added ability to turn left and right using arrow keys, doom style, and added this to binds and default settings
Added random physics cubes in menu and training levels for fun
Added gamepad control of the 2D user interface menu, so every option in the flat menu can be selected and changed using only the gamepad
Keybinds now save after quitting game as they should
Split the keybinds UI page in to 2 pages so it's not so cramped, added many new keys that weren't previously mappable
