Improvements
Level signs better convey your completion info: -show end-of-level flag on the big star to signify you’ve beaten the level -show bonus room coin on the small start to signify you’ve beaten the bonus room -show the best speedrun medal you’ve achieved for that level
Arrow signs now bob back-and-forth in the direction they point. They’re so excited to show you around!
Chains on flying drone holds are twice as thick
“Skip tutorial” orb in starting map is easier to reach
Added a particle effect that plays when you grab a pickup
Made signs, path markers, and some handholds more efficient to render
Fixes:
Now with 50% less ear bleeding! – Adjusted volume and attenuation settings on many different sounds to make them quieter
Fixed a bug in ghost race recording that would only keep your ghost data from after you returned to the level from a bonus room
Pickups spawned by pickup spawners are now properly concealed by the poof cloud
Spinning glow effect in starting map no longer casts shadows
Level Tweaks:
Earthy Entry - removed gaps in starting mesh grid and added arrow signs pointing to flag Climber’s Calamity - reduced Bonus Room timer duration Firey Falls - fixed a bee clipping into a wall Daunting Dangle - increased Bonus Room timer duration, made first bot after Checky slower, made first armor after Checky easier to reach, and increased height of all poles Daredevil Dash - slightly moved second breakable wall and slowed the bot in front of it Perilous Production - swapped spawned Armored Bots for easier bots Harrowing Heights - changed the spawn location when returning from the Bonus Room Treacherous Trek - put holds around the breakable wall with the jetpack Gearheart’s Gambit - added some safe holds to the torso and arm gauntlets
Dodgey Dilemma, Transfer Trails, Risky Rails, and Firey Falls - added flat surfaces for the moving holds to path along
Multiple levels - fixed pickups inside breakable walls clipping into the cavity and/or slightly adjusted breakable wall location
…Also, we upgraded from Unreal 4.16 to 4.24! This should help the game run better across the board, among other things. We always do our best to test, but this kind of thing can introduce new bugs. If you find one, please let us know in our Discord channel!
