addedI. New FeaturesDeath Recruitment (Re-recruitment after death) We realize that the permadeath mechanic may still be too hardcore. After team discussions, we have decided to change it to a mode where characters can be re-recruited after death. This recruitment mode will be enabled by default in existing save files once the update is applied.
addedI. New FeaturesIf a character in your party has already died, you can go to the Character Recruitment location in Xuanqiu City to re-recruit that character. However, to preserve the essence of "death," the re-recruited character will be a completely independent individual – with a new name and requiring new development. (PS: The recruitment will refresh after 5 in-game months.)
addedI. New FeaturesFor players who want a truly hardcore experience, you can check the "One Life Mode" option when starting a new save. Once selected, characters will be permanently lost upon death.

Dear Travelers,

Sorry to keep you waiting. This update mainly adds two new features, along with several bug fixes:

I. New Features

  1. Death Recruitment (Re-recruitment after death) We realize that the permadeath mechanic may still be too hardcore. After team discussions, we have decided to change it to a mode where characters can be re-recruited after death. This recruitment mode will be enabled by default in existing save files once the update is applied.

If a character in your party has already died, you can go to the Character Recruitment location in Xuanqiu City to re-recruit that character. However, to preserve the essence of "death," the re-recruited character will be a completely independent individual – with a new name and requiring new development. (PS: The recruitment will refresh after 5 in-game months.)

For players who want a truly hardcore experience, you can check the"One Life Mode"option when starting a new save. Once selected, characters will be permanently lost upon death.

"You must dare to take risks, for life will eventually pass." – Nietzsche

PS: One Life Mode is available across all three difficulties.

  1. Hard Mode Compared to Casual and Normal modes, Hard Mode features the same mechanics aside from numerical differences. It is designed primarily to provide veteran players with a greater challenge. Upon clearing Hard Mode, the Red Fox Prince and Son of the Gods will unlock their corresponding skins.

II. Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed an issue in the Compass Labyrinth where the extra drop from the Golden Pointer was not working.

  2. Fixed an issue where characters could still be upgraded after death.

  3. Fixed an issue where clicking on Equipment Collection did not take effect in a timely manner.

  4. Removed the 8x speed option due to compatibility issues on some devices causing various unknown bugs.

  5. Fixed the incorrect 24‑hour display on Badge Quests, Silver Dragon Quests, and Material Quests.

  6. Fixed an issue where invisible characters could still be targeted by single‑target attacks.

Thank you all for your support and love. The iOS version is still under review. We have also seen many players reporting bugs regarding certain combat mechanics – these will be addressed and fixed step by step. Thank you for your continued support!
