changedFirst of all, we would like to sincerely thank you for your support and patience with the single-player version of Dongwu Odyssey! Since launch, we have received a wealth of player feedback and recognize that there are quite a few bugs in the current version, as well as many gameplay details that need optimization.
fixedTo address the most frequently reported issues, we have deployed an emergency hotfix and pushed an update. The details are as follows:

fixedFixed a corrupted save file (softlock) issue occurring after clearing the game, which was caused by an in-game month bug.
changedOptimized frame rate settings for the mobile version: Ultra/Balanced settings are now capped at 60 FPS, while Smooth/Lowest settings are capped at 30 FPS, improving overall running stability.
fixedFixed a stat scaling issue in Easy Mode (previously, the stats in Easy Mode were incorrectly applying Normal Mode values).

First of all, we would like to sincerely thank you for your support and patience with the single-player version of Dongwu Odyssey! Since launch, we have received a wealth of player feedback and recognize that there are quite a few bugs in the current version, as well as many gameplay details that need optimization.

To address the most frequently reported issues, we have deployed an emergency hotfix and pushed an update. The details are as follows:

🌟 Fixed Issues

  • Fixed a corrupted save file (softlock) issue occurring after clearing the game, which was caused by an in-game month bug.

  • Optimized frame rate settings for the mobile version: Ultra/Balanced settings are now capped at 60 FPS, while Smooth/Lowest settings are capped at 30 FPS, improving overall running stability.

  • Fixed a stat scaling issue in Easy Mode (previously, the stats in Easy Mode were incorrectly applying Normal Mode values).

  • Fixed a bug where skill levels could abnormally exceed Level 6; these have now been restored to their correct maximum values.

  • Added game speed options: Now supports 1x, 2x, 3x, and 8x acceleration (Friendly reminder: 8x speed is extremely fast and may trigger game freezes, so please use it with caution).

  • Corrected text errors in the post-game completion message.

🚧 Known Issues (Work in Progress)

  • Bugs causing abnormal skill effects for certain characters.

  • Optimization of specific Boss fight mechanics.

  • Level scaling and adaptation issues for monsters in certain stages.

  • Bugs related to the World Whispers (Qi Yu) and Truths (Zheng Yan) features.

📢 Regarding Adjustments to the "Permadeath" Mechanic Since launch, we have been closely monitoring your feedback regarding the "Permadeath" mechanic. While our original intention was to provide a hardcore adventure experience that fully utilizes our 34 characters (including overlapping roles), many players have expressed that this mechanic is too punishing to accept.
