DONG WU: ODYSSEY changes
Adventurers, long time no see – we're back.
With your companionship, the world of DongWu has traveled through many seasons. Now, a brand new chapter is about to unfold – DongWu: Odyssey premium edition is officially set to launch on May 20st!
Building upon the previous free online version, we have adjusted various systems without changing the core experience. Now, no longer bound by network conditions, you can embark on your endless journey anytime.
Changes from the online version to the premium edition:
Multiple difficulty options – Choose your own challenge level, fun for both newcomers and veterans
In-game month mechanic – Affects your travel plans as well as the recruitable characters
All characters freely recruitable – No more gacha anxiety. Characters refresh with the in-game month, all obtainable
Universal badge system – More flexible character development, no longer tied to fixed badges
Streamlined equipment enhancement – Polishing and forging are easier, smoother progression
Increased rewards in Compass秘境 (Labyrinth) – Exploration yields significantly more loot
True permadeath – On any difficulty, fallen characters are gone forever, no resurrection – every decision matters
Free save system – Save anytime, continue anytime
Narration system – Accompanying you through every step of the journey
