Erica and Tomie deserve some extra attention

So we were expecting to get the Erica and Hana scene done this month. "But the post title mentions Tomie? Are you drunk and/or lying to us?" I hear you ask. Neither. Today, at least. The scene is fundamentally about Erica training Michael with Hana as willing participant. However, we believe in adding more hotness to scenes. Compounding sexiness. Why remove when you can add? More is better, up to a reasonable limit, of course. So Tomie's there as well by Erica's request. What does that look like? A bit like this:

This means we're actually only halfway done with what is labeled in the script as the Erica/Hana training sequence. The astute amongst you will have noticed a distinct lack of Hana in that image. She's with Michael in the same room, but the art is split in order to focus on the two wildly different interactions. Would it have been faster to make one big image with all 4? I don't know. It definitely would've been less visually clear and made less of an impact, though. So Michael and Hana are still in the linework phase and will be finished in August. Considering how hot the Erica and Tomie side of the scene turned out (with a bunch of variants in the pose), we think it's absolutely worth it.

As we're getting close to the end, we don't wanna rush and take the easy way out. We've spent years on this, building it up bit by bit, and we wanna do the last bits right as well. In particular, when our artist comes up with a great way to visually represent what's happening, we want to prioritize their input and vision. Yes, we've had quite a few instances of a scene getting considerably more art than initially planned as a direct result, but we made the decision early on to prioritize quality over speed. The Michael/Hana part of the scene is also shaping up better than imagined during concepting thanks to our artist's vision.

Anyway, that means Erica/Hana is gonna be finished in August and then we move on to the last story scene before the ending. That one will probably also end up being multiple pieces, but they'll be worth it.
