ICYMI, we just wanted to give a shoutout to the incredible GEEGA for hosting an official Dome Keeper multiplayer tournament over on Twitch to celebrate the multiplayer launch!
During a fast paced 2v2 tournament, 8 teams of players went head to head over 3 rounds, with many having some super cool strategies already thought out to give them the edge. With all of the new Keepers and Gadgets at their disposal, there was an exciting mixture of plays but the main strategy we found popular was teams stealing each other's relics and the high mobility of the Infiltrator combined with the carrying capacity of the Assessor was a favourite combination, while others saw some success using the new Beastmaster’s catgoblins to easily steal opponent’s resources.
The mixture of experience made the tournament a fresh & fun time, with some players being Dome Keeper veterans and others who saw their very first delve into the mines! With a prize pool of $15,000 and a rather unique bonus of 500 bars of CHEEKY soap, there was more than enough incentive for teams to bring their A-game, and bring their A-game they really did. We highly recommend checking out some VODS from the creators, who we’ve linked below in order of placement.
