Doloc Town Second Major 'Thrive & Ties' Update Is Now Available!
Get to know the townies and discover their personal stories in the latest update now! This update also introduces a brand new faction and related NPC, more customization options, calendar feature, new items, as well as loads of QoL improvements and more!

First Doloc Town Developer AMA - Join To Get Doloc Town OST!
Believe it or not, it's been 6 months since Doloc Town initially enters Early Access!
Half a year ago, when we introduced our official subreddit, we briefly teased the plan for future AMA. We're aware that with no new content to update, the community has been a bit radio silent over the past month or so. To make up for it, the team has prepared some Doloc Town Original Soundtrack codes (many new players still haven't grabbed theirs!) for an AMA event and hope as the update is out, players will be willing to join in to chat with us :)
We'd also like to take this opportunity to welcome more players into our official subreddit. So the Steam OST codes will be distributed to EVERYONE who left a comment in our AMA Subreddit Thread!
To qualify for the giveaway, simply JOIN our subreddit community first and leave a comment in the official AMA thread. If you don't have a question yet, feel free to just come and say hi to us!
Hat Creation Event - Get Your Hat Concept Into The Game!
As we introduce some new hats in this update, the team thought it’d be wonderful to host a hat creation event!
We want to gather community ideas for future hat designs - the team will review all eligible submissions, and you might just see your hat concept come to life in the game down the line! 🧢

New Additions
Added townie frienship storylines and related quests (Alchemy, Dada, Mody, Orlando, Merlin, Lank, Claud, Sacco)
Added Rico Mountain faction and its representative NPC - Quipu (unlocks after clearing the River Valley)
Added Rico Mountain faction-related quests
Added main storyline progression (Environmental Modifier part and related quests)
Added explorable areas
Added new furniture sets: Copper Series, Grassland Series, Mountain Series, and Broken Furniture Series
Added flip support for some furniture items (there will be flip sign when crafting compatible furniture)
Added map layout for the town and nearby areas (switchable with the original map)
Added cultivable Cocoa Tree and related processed products (unlocks after relevant faction settles in)
Added new building: Cellar (unlocks after completing relevant faction quests)
Added new firearms, drone parts, etc. (unlocks after completing relevant faction quests)
Added accessory slot in the equipment menu (accessories obtainable via friendship storylines)
Added new hats (acquirable through store purchases, wild exploration, enemy drops, etc.)
Added Calendar feature (unlocks at the Town Hall outside)
Added townie birthday events and player birthday events
Adjustments & Optimizations
Enabled long-press interaction to continuously refill food/fuel
Removed automatic save before entering the Shooting Range
Adjusted Salmon Festival item submission deadline (added January 28th as an extra submission day)
Adjusted power generation efficiency and capacity of Basic Generator and Improved Fuel Generator
Reclassified Farm Light under the "Agriculture" category
Reordered NPC favorite items in the Contact List (sorted by favorability level)
Adjusted demolition rules for wooden planters with trees (direct demolition only allowed at seed stage)
Optimized occlusion order for the protagonist and NPCs; adjusted rendering priority between characters, grass, drones, and motors during dialogues.
BUG Fixes
Fixed an issue where custom UI confirm/cancel keybindings in settings failed to take effect
Fixed text overflow or incomplete display in UI elements (e.g., current location indicator, backpack upgrade prompts)
Fixed abnormal interface caused by interacting with UI during fishing
Fixed incorrect display of current room item quantities in the crafting menu
Fixed an issue where the protagonist could fly after passing through building connecting corridors in certain conditions
Fixed an issue where sickle-harvested alfalfa in hay pots might yield no produces
Fixed an issue where fishing lines could behave erratically when reeling in while standing in puddles
Fixed an issue where some planters didn’t consume plastic mulch during dry seasons
Resolved various other known issues...
