Repeated intro
Hello! We have been HARD AT WORK on a bunch of Dogpile stuff that has all just been revealed at IGN Live (just then!!!), and I'm pleased to announce that v1.1 has JUST LAUNCHED LIVE NOW ACROSS THE PLANET! A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, our testing community on Discord, everyone who helped get us to Overwhelmingly Positive in the reviews, and anyone who has enjoyed our game. I know this is just a silly little game but we love making things, and we hope it's a little light in your day. ICYMI Dogpile is coming soon to Mobile + Nintendo Switch 1+2. Plz follow Folly on insta + bsky for news on when it’s ready but it shouldn’t be long! Warning: Dogpile on the go is very very fun. Dogpile changes
New dogs (the crowd goes absolutely wild)! 13 new dogs to play with, beautifully animated with different shapes to master
New Bad Trait, Stinky! Merges result in NO & and NO Bones.
Many tags provide easy ways to get larger Stinky Dogs, but overcommit and you might find yourself with no money, and failing every goal. Such is the Stinky dog life.
New Good Trait, Zoomy! Zoomy: Replays itself when buried
Zoomy Dogs retrigger other Traits such as Pack and Barky, making it a force amplifier on other builds and just an incredibly fun and chaotic thing to play around with.
60ish new Dog Tags, whole suites for Zoomy + Stinky along with powerful additions to underloved archetypes like Sleepy, Show Dog & Cool.
Endless system revamp, Challenge Cards! After beating the game, push your build to the limit by seeing how many Challenge cards you can surpass
Warning: they will kill you very quickly, also there are 10 different Challenge cards, there is always one in play and they look beautiful.
Localization to Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, German, French, Spanish
It’s so weird releasing text into our game that we can’t comprehend personally. Please give us feedback if anything looks strange in any languages we don’t understand! Also tell people who don't speak English that they can finally pile dogs, as god intended.
Controller Support Rework
We’ve ditched the digi-cursor and upgraded to a holistic "good" controller approach that should feel quite intuitive. Please let us know tho!
Physics improvements. Due to a heap of work under the hood for Mobile we've made some broad sweeping reworks to how the dogs move around the yard. Please give us feedback on how dropping dogs feels, along with the original traits and tags.
And the rest! We've made major and minor changes to almost every element of the game, some are player-facing QoL improvements and balance tweaks and others are more structural behind-the-scenes things to account for new platforms and new languages and what not. Please let us know if you find something you especially liked or hated!
