The C.H.L.O.E. Initiative & Forge Refactor

"Welcome to Project Aegis. Please drag the simulated debris out of the orbital path to confirm motor function."

Command has determined that our previous onboarding sequence was resulting in an unacceptable rate of early-stage planetary collapse. To rectify this, we are rolling out the Centralized Hazard & Logistics Operations Evaluator (C.H.L.O.E.).

C.H.L.O.E. is your new automated public address system. She operates on a crisp, mid-century analog frequency, and she is here to ensure you understand the basic mechanics of orbital defense before the real Void Swarm arrives. Please note: C.H.L.O.E. is a pre-recorded training program. She does not possess empathy, and she will not comfort you when the mantle fractures.

The Year 0 Overhaul:

Time-Dilation Onboarding: The simulation now hard-freezes upon boot to allow C.H.L.O.E. to deliver your operational mandate.

Tactical Bullet-Time: During your initial manual-intercept test, the engine drops to 2% speed. Take your time, learn the drag-and-deflect physics, and secure the Life Ark without panicking.

Zero-Bloat Calibration: Once you scramble your first Vanguard Interceptor, C.H.L.O.E. will sign off permanently. No more annoying AI back-seat driving while you are trying to manage a Year 40 crisis. You are on your own.

The Stardust Forge (UI Refactor):

Death to the Sidebar: The clunky 9-tab persistent sidebar has been completely gutted.

Three-Pillar Navigation: The Forge is now categorized into three sleek, top-nav command pillars: THE FORGE (Permanent Upgrades), THE HANGAR (Deployables), and ARCHIVES (Lore & Cosmetics).

Aegis OS Theming: The Forge now natively matches the sleek Cyan/Slate aesthetic of the Tactical Archive.

Visual Hierarchy: Gold is now strictly reserved for elements related to spending and power (Stardust balance, costs, and high-tier upgrades). Cyan is for information.

Bug Fix: Resolved an issue where unequipped Title Deck text was rendering black-on-black.

God Power Balance: PULSAR

Reworked from the ground up. The Pulsar is no longer a spammable shotgun that breaks the physics engine and your frame rate.

It is now a massive, screen-shaking AoE Energy Ring that expands outward from Earth.

The Panic Button: Pulsar now has a hard 5-second cooldown. It is designed to be your ultimate "clear the room" tool when the Swarm breaches your inner grid.

Hidden Scaling: The radius and damage of the Pulsar ring now secretly scale with the amount of years you've survived in your current run, ensuring it remains devastating in the late-game.
