Greetings! We've been working intensely on Dimenshot over the past few weeks, and here are the update notes for this week!

addedNew Features & Mechanics
addedEnemy AI: The AI system has been overhauled; enemies now adapt their orientation to the slope of the terrain. (Essential prep for the new layer! ;))
addedThrowable Axe Mechanics: You can now grapple to your thrown axe to glide or quickly pull yourself toward it.
addedSuper Dash: The "Long Jump" is officially a feature! You can now perform a Super Dash after your initial jump from the ground.
addedAudio & Music: New music added for the first layer! (thanks to John!)
fixedAxe: Throwing skill nerfed and a cooldown added. Fixed the self-parrying glitch and the lingering collider bug.

New Features & Mechanics

Bug Fixes & Balancing

  • AxeThrowing skill nerfed and a cooldown added. Fixed the self-parrying glitch and the lingering collider bug.
  • MovementResolved issues with slide keybindings, vertical slope speed scaling, and the viewmodel glitch during consecutive slides.
  • BossesFixed Proud Boss grammar issues, the double-spawn bug, and weapon icon glitches. Resolved the bug where Voidwalker would hit without triggering an animation.
  • GeneralFixed UI alignment in menu settings, drone collision issues, and the crash occurring when resetting the game at the final portal.

The reason we haven't updated the demo in a while is that we’ve been working full-throttle on the other layers. Check out this screenshot of the Noir Boss below!

We are getting very close to the Early Access launch, and the excitement is real!
