Sofa here with another round of bug fixes! Some of these were minor, others pretty major (like ear-shattering so 😅). Check out the full rundown below:
So first let's talk about the elephant in the room. That's a lot of points, and I didn't even think it was possible to do this in the demo. So congratz to this player!! (I'll name drop you if you want.) They're the first person to literally break the game when it came to scoring! Let's see what happened:
Odd Scoring
Fixed scoring for hands over 3,000,000,000 points glitching the tallying logic after a certain threshold, causing the game to stall and perpetually tally points.
Added a base CRIT of "1"to better synergize with different pin/dice abilities. Ex: Steel Epee gives a +2 CRIT modifier, but it really only ever counted as +1 CRIT, since the original CRIT was 0. So now a +2 CRIT will give a total of +3 CRIT (base + bonus). Woo, math!
Dice
Some dice (namely D20s) were debuffed incorrectly (not able to be scored). This is now fixed and all dice should be buffed/debuffed correctly depending on the boss.
Having zero dice caused horrible and extremely loud audio, and the game became soft-locked. Now you can have zero dice (good luck) and score "Trash" over and over till you're out of hands.
Typos
D20 description was flipped (the 20 now says what it has been doing correctly)
Diecast Hyper Car now says +3 CRIT instead of x3 MULT
Changed how pin cooldowns are displayed to better show how many hands remain. The hand the pin is used counts as the first hand towards the cooldown.
Misc. Changes
The star on the Star Map should now be in the correct location showing the level you just completed (not hanging out in the corner).
Added a "durhn" sound when trying to select a debuffed die for scoring.
