I've pushed an update out a few days ago to the beta branch, and have made some changes since then. Check out some of the new content in the beta branch below!
Accessing the Beta
To access the beta, right click on Diecast Demo in your Steam Library, then click on Betas and then the drop-down menu under Beta Participation. Click on beta - beta build of game for testing and you should be good to go! Note: You may need to delete your save and system files for Diecast for the update to work. I'm working with a system that should hopefully fix this in the future.
New Hand: Jackpot!
This hand simply focuses on getting three 7s, which is harder than it sounds. It gives 77 points and 7 mult, which increases by 7 points and 7 mult on leveling up.
Difficulty Tiers
This beta update brings a first pass at introducing difficulty tiers to the game! In the full game, these tiers will be locked at the start and need to be earned by completing a run on the previous difficulty. The full game will include six different tiers, with different effects for each. Currently, each tier gives a higher target point value and increased point scaling to make things tougher. This will be modified and refined with feedback and further development.

Visuals:
Added shinier outline to pins.
Target scores now show their required points on the level select screen.
Pins:
Moved Classic Car to exotic rarity.
Buffed Classic Car to give +55 points.
Moved Sports Car to exotic rarity.
Moved Bank Vault to rare rarity.
Moved Deep Freeze to uncommon rarity.
Shop:
Rebalanced shop odds to be consistent across shops (50% chance for specified rarity).
Scoring:
Modified the target points from being hard-coded to a exponential curve. The early game should be easier for the first few rounds, and the late game should be more difficult. This will be adjusted as feedback comes in.
Tiered Difficulty:
First attempt at a new "prestige" system, where the difficulty scales more drastically at higher levels. First pass with much more to come in the future.
10.19 BETA Patch Notes:
General:
Previous run is deleted when loading a new version of the game to prevent any bugs or glitches from changed content. (You may need to delete the game and download it again the first time.)
"Save and Quit" icon moved to "Options" menu.
Visuals:
BUG FIX: visual issue on scoring hands in shop.
Hands:
Added a new hand “Jackpot!”

BUG FIX: Buffed Classic Car to give +55 points working correctly.
Shop:
Rebalanced income to slightly nerf cash-focused builds.
Reduced base cash earned from $4 to $2.
Reduced base interest from 10% to 5%.
Tiered Difficulty:
Tweaked tier 2 and tier 3 difficulties to have a slightly lower difficulty curve but higher starting target value.
