Week 15
This Week’s Development Progress Update
This week focused on a large-scale simplification of all class skills and optimization of the skill tree layout. Further skill simplification will continue for other characters to reduce onboarding difficulty. A new exclusive unlock dungeon for the Missionary has been added, along with expanded faction-specific equipment affix pools and improved codex character tagging. Multiple UI interfaces, visual effects, and interaction experiences have been optimized, and several display issues in the codex and inventory have been fixed.
Content Expansion & Adjustments
New Missionary Recruitment Dungeon
Added a new recruitment dungeon for the Missionary. It unlocks when victory turn count > 5 and Priest specialization level > 4. Completing the challenge grants the Missionary.
The Missionary is a dwarf priest. When taking damage, it gains bonus dual resistances based on its spell power. It can also provide allies with dual penetration and dual resistances. Its Miracle skill includes a resurrection effect. When drinking alcohol, it gains comprehensive stat boosts. It is a frontline support priest with both tanking and healing capabilities.
Skill Simplification & Skill Tree Layout Optimization
- Fallen KnightLevel 9 new skill Weak Point Strike . Attacks treat enemy armor as 1.5x and treat own crit as 1.5x. Removed Shell Break and Breakthrough . Adjusted skill names and skill tree layout.
- Weak MageRemoved Magic Missile and Fire Bolt .
- Anti-Cavalry CaptainRemoved Zeal+ , Infiltration , Command , and Wolf Pack . Honest Strike now throws a banner toward the target. Adjusted skill tree layout.
- Wind Valley RangerRemoved Storm Arrow Rain .
- SaintessRemoved Holy Shield .
- Dwarf GunnerRemoved Bloodthirst Accuracy , Mithril Amplification , Precision Hunter , and Armor Piercing Mastery . Adjusted skill order and skill tree layout.
- Frost ScholarRemoved Ice Corrosion , Frost Bloodline , Frost Echo , and Frost Empowerment . Frost Staff now deals additional magic damage to enemies with N stacks of Cold: (5 + 0.05 * AP) * N.
- Royal Shield GuardRemoved Emergency Guard , Just Strike , Disarm Slam , and Anti-Magic Block . Counter Strike now reduces cooldown by 1s whenever Protection is triggered.
- Royal KnightRemoved Oath Guard and Royal Judgment .
- Royal LancerRemoved Lancer’s Edge , Banner Suppression , and Banner: Sever Strike . Adjusted skill order and layout.
- Royal MageRemoved Arcane Warm-up , Heat Lock , and Eternal Winter Domain . Extreme Frost Beam now cools the enemy with the highest temperature. Flame Domain Protection grants 4 heat immunities at battle start, and adjacent allies gain 1 heat immunity.
- Royal ArcherRemoved Marked Arrow , Explosive Arrow Rain , and Long-range Arrow . Judgment Distance: Healing Hunt healing reduced from 30% → 15%, now also grants 1 random immunity.
- Royal PriestRemoved Extended Holy Heal and Sacred Healing . Holy Law Balance and Divine Protection now reduce cooldown by 2s each time Dispel of Misfortune successfully removes a debuff.
- Nature EnvoyRemoved Nature Protection . Absolute Defense now restores 10% HP whenever 10s of stun immunity is accumulated.
- Stout (Beer Unit)Dense Foam now reduces the chance of losing Stout Foam by 1% after each foam burst. Adjusted skill order and layout.
- IcebockAdjusted skill order and layout.
- TripelRemoved Drunken Parry and adjusted skill order and layout.
Some skill simplifications will be rolled out in future updates.
Codex Tag Improvements
Characters now display new tags in the codex based on acquisition method and faction, including Royal, Tavern Regular, Starter, Shop, Rescue, and Recruit, making it easier for players to understand acquisition paths and affiliations.
New Equipment Affixes
Human Armor Affix Pool
Mercantilism: After battle, gain gold equal to (your “Human Beans” ÷ 4).
Conservatism: When HP first drops below 20%, consume all Human Beans and randomly gain immunity types based on stacks consumed across all damage categories.
Dwarf Armor Affix Pool
Barrel Beer: Beer no longer reduces movement speed.
Brewing Extraction: Beer no longer reduces attack speed.
Elf Armor Affix Pool
Wind Blessing: Resonance: Doubles trigger chance of Wind Blessing, but increases cooldown by 1s.
Wind Blessing: Symbiosis: Reduces cooldown by 1s, but reduces dodge by 3.
Wind Blessing: Charge: Gain 1 stack of Charge when Wind Blessing triggers.
Wind Blessing: Gale Blessing: Each stack of Wind Blessing now grants +0.01 attack speed.
Shield Guard Pool Addition
Regroup: When HP first drops below 50%, trigger the opening battle effect a second time.
Bug Fixes
Fixed issue where codex entries did not display when clicking reward characters.
Fixed misalignment issues in certain codex entries.
Fixed abnormal display issues in the inventory UI.
Game Optimization
Optimized skill tree UI connection layout.
Added confirmation popup when deleting save data to prevent accidental deletion.
Improved some character attack effects and equipment icons.
Optimized codex filtering system.
