Dfiance: Dominance changes
Not every match in Dfiance: Dominance is about going head-to-head with another player. Challenges are a special game mode designed for something different — and we want to know how you feel about this kind of content.
HOW CHALLENGES WORK
Challenges are one-time completable scenarios — finish one for the first time and you earn resources and cosmetic rewards. All challenges use special pre-built decks, not your own collection, so you're always on an equal footing regardless of where you are in your progression.
There are two types:
PUZZLES
Single-turn challenges. You get one turn to find the winning move — the opponent makes no actions. As soon as your turn ends, the challenge is over. Win or fail, you'll know immediately.
If you fail, you can restart instantly and try again.
Think chess puzzles, but built around cards and combat.
STORY-RELATED CHALLENGES
These are either full matches or scenarios with a different objective entirely — protect a specific card for X turns, prevent the destruction of a card that starts on the field, or complete other unique conditions that change how you approach the game.

We want to hear from you.
Do you enjoy this type of content in card games? Are puzzles something you actively seek out, or do you skip them and go straight to PvP? Have you played a TCG where challenges or puzzles were done particularly well — or particularly badly?
Drop your thoughts below — we read everything.
