CARD SKINS & CARD LEVELS — Everything You Need to Know

We've been getting some questions about how card customization will works in Dfiance: Dominance, so here's the short info — skins, levels, visual upgrades, and what happens to your cards between seasons.

🔷 CARD SKINS

Card Skins are available in four rarities:

◆ Common ◆ Rare ◆ Legendary ◆ Mythic

The higher the rarity, the harder to get — and the more exclusive the reward. Higher-rarity skins often feature unique artwork, visual effects, or voice-overs you won't find anywhere else.

Where to get them: ◆ Season Pass ◆ Chests & Special Chests ◆ The Shop ◆ The Marketplace ◆ Ranked rewards ◆ Tournaments ◆ Limited-time events

Some skins are permanently available. Others are exclusive to a specific season or competition — once they're gone, they're gone.

🔷 CARD LEVELS — The prettier the card, the harder you've worked for it

Every card in Dfiance: Dominance has a level ranging from 1 to 5. All copies of the same card you own share the same level. The higher the level, the more visually impressive the card becomes.

Visual effects unlock as you level up — and they're cumulative:

◆ Level 1 — base card ◆ Level 2 — Card Border Shader ◆ Level 3 — Card Border Shader + Card Shader ◆ Level 4 — Card Border Shader + Card Shader + Particles + Inner Glow ◆ Level 5 — full visual upgrade

🔷 YOUR CARD LEVEL PERSISTS — Even if you lose the card

This is important: even if you no longer own a card, your level progress on it is saved permanently.

💡 Example: you level up Mervena to Level 3, then a new season starts and you lose your copies. The moment you unlock Mervena again — she comes back at Level 3, exactly where you left her.

🔷 FINDING A CARD FOR THE FIRST TIME

The game tracks every card you've ever added to your collection — regardless of the game mode. If you've never owned a card before, a special indicator will appear below it so you always know what's new to your collection.
