addedHi, I am at a stage where I feel comfortable talking and more importantly showing some game footage. Below you will find the link to the video which briefly shows some of the games features and new art style. Here I wanted to go into more detail on the game. Art Style A big change to the game is the art style which is completely different from the original. I made this change for two reasons, one I personally like the new art style and two it's a complete pack. By complete pack I mean each and everything from people to monsters to items are consistent. I did my best in the original version to only use models that fit together but it was hard, and you can easily see the different styles. But now and as you will see in the video, 95% of the art is consistent while the other 5% is the weather effects and some particle effects that are slightly different Game Play Big changes here as the controls have been completely changed to a more fluid style. In comparison its similar to dark souls minus the evasive rolls. You can block and move out of enemy attacks New movement actions include jumping and crouching which play a part in the exploration part of the game Better Quest management allowing for multi tier quest and more depth Gear change has been implemented to. You will only be able to carry one large weapon on the back, a smaller one on the left hip and a shield on the back. This drives the need for preparation as enemies are weaker to some weapons. Player magic is gone, replaced are magic weapons that can be found Random dungeons have been added which are referred to living dungeons in the game. They offer multiplay experiences and also serve as end game content. Dynamic weather is in, and showed in video. The game will have a day/night cycle which affects the types of enemies you will encounter outside of dungeons. Rare encounters, treasure and other things can be found during special conditions such as night, during rain, after you killed x amount of enemies etc. Armor can be found or crafted which change player stats and also have other benefits Player level system added to help progress gameplay around your style Story While the story as a whole remains the same, all the quest have been updated and how you get to the end has changed along with the ending Once you complete the game you will unlock new gameplay features like Dungeon Survival and other side quest Steam Achievements will be updated Thanks for checking this out. Please take a look at the video and let me know your thoughts. I know its been a while since I released Devoured Time and it did not deliver what I hoped, but I hope with this new version those who bought the game will feel it was at least worth the money you spent. This new version is for all of you who supported me from the start, thanks. YouTube Video Link https://youtu.be/pynh-FbRTEo
