Roguelike Celebration Updates
We're excited to announce that dev_hell has been selected for Roguelike Celebration 2024! We've updated the demo with even more features and fixes in time for the festival.
NEW FEATURES
Clicking on any unplayable card will tell you exactly why it's unplayable
"Hand Full" indicator when you are at max hand size (10 cards)
Coffee Refills are now reward options in certain dialogues
More lighting + sound effects to illustrate how cards are interacting on the board
Improved clarity on card output destination, both before and after play
Randomized reasons provided when you're fired
UPDATED SYSTEMS
Smoother transitions between encounters and character animations (ongoing progress)
More cards displayed at once when scrolling on the end-of-game summary screen
Improvements to visual culling settings to reduce stuttering when turning around
Scheduling-chips on features have clearer representation of current progress
Clean camera motion in all instances of getting fired
FIXES
Prevent code and reputation meter-inputs from sometimes becoming invisible
Kyle can now return to his chair properly after leaving his desk
Disabled interactions with CodeMonkey tabs when screen is locked
Correct number of total comments for Code Review on conference room TV
Fix reputation meter not relocking when ending a match with reputation unlocked
Using DEPLOY against a shield will now reduce the shield as expected
Resolve logical effects on all cards after a Buffer Overflow
