Dethroned changes
Take Control - Demo Update (0.2.57): Initial army and artifact selection, restock in Barracks, Threat animations, Revised Tutorial and more!
List of most noticeable changes:
Initial army selection and free artifact at the start (choose 1 out of 3)
Added restock option to Barracks (for 30 gold, changes the available units)
Map Preview: Show names of non-empty fields on mouse hover
- Tutorial MapImproved readability, revised texts, and added more information for complex mechanics
Any changes to the army's Threat are now animated on the UI and over the unit that caused the change (indicating increased/decreased Threat)
Some environmental props, like the large Encasall tree, will sometimes be even bigger (up to 3 times!)
Show current run statistics, captured locations, and unlocked achievements upon win/lose
Right-clicking (RMB) on units now places ranged units in the back row if possible
Improved unit dragging for easier snapping to a new position
Adjusted settings of the graphics presets
Further optimization for performance improvement
Temporarily removed the fog of war as it was too ugly when combined with high buildings and props
Discord and Steam links should now open in the proper apps instead of a browser
- BugfixRefresh available artifacts immediately when a new one is unlocked
Bugfix: Selecting a spell during "prepare to battle" won't exit the mode anymore
