changedI have been progressing a lot for the past month. I've been delayed on some of my mechanics that I wanted to polish and optimize a lot more, such as the building system. I'm trying to get a good performance while players can still build a thousand of stuff on screen. This is hard but really worth it in the long run.
changedIt's also taking a lot longer to optimize the levels in an efficient way, so your GPU doesn't die while playing. My goal is that the game can run at least smoothly on former GPUS, without DLSS on, which is really a challenging part while trying to keep everything realistic. But I know I'll get there!
changedI've been playing a lot with Unreal Engine 5 features recently and will offer the choice to unable a lot of really performance-heavy options such as Nanite and Lumen for players who cannot afford more recent GPUs. But don't worry, all the recent techs will be there (DLSS 3, Ray Tracing, Nanite, Lumen).

Here are two really short sneak peeks at the beach and the water effect I've been working on for the past week.

Have a great week and enjoy playing other games in the meantime!
