Demonic Episode changes
New Content
New Map "Wasteland":
Explore an abandoned village in a canyon.
The map offers four different variations.
Set in a desert environment.
New Enemy "Mindsnatcher":
This demon has no eyes but possesses a large brain that allows it to track you down.
Its special ability slows you down, then grabs you to invade your thoughts.
It also has excellent hearing: make sure to move quietly and avoid unnecessary noises (e.g., when picking up items).
Dynamic Weather System:
The system includes numerous weather phases that can occur randomly depending on the game phase and the map.
It comes with many new visual and sound effects that change—and above all, intensify—the gameplay experience.
Escalation in later phases: Storms and thunderstorms can occur, affecting both the environment and your hearing – so keep an even closer eye on the demon!
The new weather influences not only the environment but also the gameplay:
For example, rain makes the environment and characters wet, reflecting more light.
In contrast, snow makes it more difficult to find items, as the map gradually becomes covered in snow.
Flying Demons:
After nightfall, hell gates open and flying demons appear to attack you.
Their attacks temporarily slow you down and impair your vision.
Light can destroy the demons.
The number of demons and their respawn interval depend on the difficulty level and the number of players.
Minimap:
A new minimap has been implemented, displayed in the upper right corner and can be switched to fullscreen mode.
This feature provides a clear overview of the map layout with many benefits:
Shows the positions of your teammates.
Marks the demon’s crypt when it is found.
Displays ritual points, keys, and the light from the lighting technician.
Additional New Content:
All sound effects have been replaced with new, more fitting versions.
All music has been replaced.
Dialogue Feature: Characters now regularly interact with each other and comment on certain actions.
Improvements

DLSS updated to version 3.7.20: Now supports significantly more graphics cards than just the RTX 40 series.

- Camera TechnicianThe night vision function has been adjusted for increased viewing distance and brightness.

Numerous optimizations to demon pathfinding have been implemented.
Missing audio effects for some interface actions have been added.
Improved particle effects for footsteps in water.
