Demonic Episode changes
New Content
Randomized level layouts implemented for all maps.
Update of the engine version to Unreal Engine version 5.4.2
Improvements
- StaminaPermanent sprint duration increased from 40 to 60 seconds.
- StaminaRecovery speed has been greatly increased.
Stamina: Recovery is dependent on whether you are standing or walking.
Visibility of footprints slightly improved on Medium difficulty near ritual sites.
Visibility range of the night vision device has been improved.
Slightly increased intensity of the cameraman's flashlight.
Teleport points of the witch and players adjusted.
Duration in which night falls has been slightly shortened.
Intensity of the glow has been reduced for ritual sites and for the fire jumpscare.
Forgotten Village map: Only the mine needs to be unlocked, all other doors are open per default
- Forgotten Village mapLocations in the UI are updated more accurately.
- Forgotten Village mapReworked Indoor sound triggers of the mine for more accurate sounds.
Several smaller improvements.
Bugfixes
AI: The demon was still walking after moving out of the light cone of the flashlight.
AI: Demon defined a player as a target even though he was already knocked out.
AI: Demon did not move for a few seconds immediately after being freed from the cage.
Some hiding places of the demons were not set correctly.
A few points for the water reservoirs were placed incorrectly.
Fixed an edge case where the demon could land outside the navigation area when jumping towards the player.
Forgotten Village map: Indoor sound was not triggering correctly at the starting point for the host or in singleplayer mode.
Fixed a bug for the client where the sound of the stone circle puzzle did not stop correctly when the rotation was stopped.
Fixed spider webs being displayed too bright when not lit.
Fixed a few sound effects that were placed twice in the same place.
