Here are the highlights:

🏁 TRACK EDITOR

You can now fully edit every circuit in the game to your liking!

  • Customization: Edit track characteristics entirely.

  • Default Support: Any circuit you choose not to modify will have a default layout assigned automatically.

📡 2D RADAR VIEW

A new way to follow the race.

  • Live Tracking: A radar map allowing you to track your drivers' positions in real-time.

  • Strategic Design: We chose not to integrate a visual pitlane in this view to facilitate future multiplayer implementation and to keep the focus on strategic gameplay.Steam post image

📅 PRE-SEASON REVOLUTION

Pre-season testing is now entirely configurable. You are no longer forced to hold tests in Week 1.

  • Schedule Freedom: Place pre-season testing any week you want. (Tip: Avoid Week 1, as teams won't have time to validate Crash Tests yet!).

  • Session Control: Choose the number of days, split sessions (Morning/Afternoon), and set limits on the number of participating cars.

  • Importance: These tests are crucial for improving your Car Understanding.

💥 CRASH TESTS & WEIGHT PHYSICS

  • Mandatory Crash Tests: You must now validate crash tests to be allowed in races or pre-season testing. If non-compliant, you must add weight or take reliability risks.

  • Car Weight: Weight is now a major simulation factor. You can develop "lightness" for the current and future seasons.

  • Regulations: Future regulations can shift minimum weight limits (configurable range in the editor).Steam post image

⚙️ R&D DEEP DIVE: UNDERSTANDING & KNOWLEDGE

Developing a car is now more complex and realistic:

  • Car UnderstandingYou now have an "Understanding" percentage. Teams that don't understand their car will have a very low success rate when trying to develop new parts.
  • Wind TunnelA new facility to research and improve Car Understanding.
  • "Car Knowledge" Mode: During practice sessions, you can choose this option to boost your understanding of the car, though you sacrifice performance setup work for that specific race.

🚦 PRE-QUALIFYING (Community Request)

Added by player request! You can now enable Pre-Qualifying sessions.

  • Cut-Off: Choose how many teams are eliminated in pre-qualifying. These teams will not participate in Qualifying or the Race.

🎨 VISUALS & COMMUNITY

  • New Logos: Replaced AI-generated logos with handmade logos created by the community. Big thanks to kazaxpl on Discord!

  • Spectator Mode: Spectators can now view the active regulations.

🛠️ MODDING & TOOLS

  • Engine Cap (Regulations)Added an option in the editor to set a maximum performance threshold for engines. This allows you to reduce inequality between engine manufacturers.
  • Workshop UpdatesYou can now choose between publishing a new mod or updating an existing one.
  • More SlotsMod slots increased from 3 to 6 .
  • Category LimitsYou can now cap stats so they never exceed a specific range fixed in the mod.

⚖️ BALANCING & CHANGES

  • ReliabilityIncreased the chance of mechanical failures when reliability is low.
  • Stat Expansion: Performance value ranges have been widely extended for better granularity:

    • Speed/Reliability: 25 ➔ 100

    • Engine: 25 ➔ 100

    • Other Attributes: 50 ➔ 200

  • Various UI display adjustments.

🐛 BUG FIXES

  • Rain ChanceFixed a bug preventing rain chance from being set to 0%.
  • EnginesFixed a bug preventing the deletion of active engines.
  • ConstructorsFixed constructor standings issues when the point system is modified.
