This update is all about making race weekends feel real. Free practice and qualifying are no longer just menus — they are full sessions you can play through, with rotating drivers, AI strategy, and meaningful decisions on every run.

Key 0.4 Highlights:

  • Divergent Pit Lanes: Each circuit now has its own parallel pit lane geometry. Your car physically leaves the racing line at pit entry and rejoins at the exit.

  • Mid-Season Transfer MarketNew system for signing free agents mid-season with a weekly rumor pool and automatic signing-cost calculation. (Beta some bugs can happen)
  • Advanced FP & Qualy: Multi-run planning, hot-lap/in-lap budgets, tire allocation, and AI-driven rotations.

  • Endurance Car Sharing: In GT/Endurance mods, teammates share a single physical car. The AI rotates them automatically based on stints and skill.

  • Skip Session Button: Instantly simulate sessions if you prefer the classic style—works in player, co-op, and spectator modes.

Simulation & AI Improvements

  • Race2D Dot Mode: Drivers can now be displayed as colored dots (showing number, face, or logo) instead of standard sprites.

  • Smarter Safety CarsBunching is 3x faster. Detached cars catch up at near-race-pace from lap 1, plus a new "Safety Car Dot" on the map.
  • AI Behavior: Fully configurable Pit Windows per compound, including critical-wear and critical-pit-chance overrides.

  • Development Risks: R&D choices can now have negative side effects on other areas of the car.

  • Unknown Issues: Simulates deep-rooted technical flaws. During major regulation changes, you might suffer a constant penalty until the source is identified.

  • R&D Weighting: Assign different gains/limits for each attribute to simulate specific "eras" (e.g., favoring Grip over Top Speed).

Savegame Editor & Stats

  • Savegame Editor: Modify race scoring, qualifying formats, grid options, and team entries directly in-game.

  • Advanced Statistics: Track "All-Time Best Laps" for each circuit with cross-category search.

  • Lap Counter Precision: Now shows fractional progress (e.g., "12.4 / 50") so you know exactly where the leader is on track.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed free drivers vanishing at end of season (ID collision).

Fixed Advanced Qualy AI only doing one run when time allowed for two.

Fixed car problems editor showing empty fields.

Fixed single-driver categories being wrongly gated by car-sharing logic.

Added an advancing-week spinner so the UI no longer feels frozen.

Fixed Enter/Arrow keys not working on the final lap.

And many more QoL improvements! Thanks for the continued support.
